Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BlueTile at bluetile.io (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BlueTile.
By using BlueTile, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
2. Description of Service
BlueTile is an AI-powered medical knowledge mapping tool designed for exam preparation, specifically for students preparing for NEET PG and similar medical postgraduate entrance examinations. The Service allows users to explore medical topics through an interactive hexagonal tile interface, with content generated by third-party AI language models.
BlueTile is strictly an educational tool. It is not a clinical decision support system, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional medical advice.
3. Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of BlueTile, you must sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at [email protected]
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Free Tier and Paid Plans
4.1 Free Tier
BlueTile offers a free tier that includes access to the first 150 tile generations. No payment information is required to use the free tier.
4.2 Paid Subscription
Beyond the free tier, continued use requires a paid subscription at ₹199 per month ("Pro Plan"). The Pro Plan provides unlimited tile generations for the duration of the active subscription period.
4.3 Billing and Cancellation
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Razorpay. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months of service unless required by applicable law.
4.4 Changes to Pricing
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice to registered users via email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use BlueTile only for lawful, personal, educational purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to generate or distribute medical misinformation
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract content from the Service at scale
- Use the Service to train, fine-tune, or distil any machine learning model
- Share, resell, or sublicense your account access to others
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
- Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to interact with the Service
- Upload or input any content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights
6. AI-Generated Content
6.1 Nature of Content
Content displayed on BlueTile tiles is generated by third-party AI language models (currently Anthropic's Claude). This content is:
- Generated algorithmically and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information
- Not reviewed or verified by medical professionals before display
- Not endorsed by any textbook publisher, examination body, or medical institution
While BlueTile references standard medical literature to ground its content, it does not reproduce that material directly. References are provided as general attribution guidance only.
6.2 No Medical Advice
The content generated by BlueTile is for exam preparation purposes only. It must not be used to make clinical decisions, diagnose conditions, or guide patient treatment. BlueTile expressly disclaims all liability for any harm arising from clinical reliance on content generated by this Service.
6.3 Reporting Errors
We provide a "Report issue" feature within the Service. We encourage users to flag inaccurate or misleading content. However, the existence of this feature does not imply that all content has been verified or that reported issues will be corrected immediately.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 BlueTile's Rights
The BlueTile name, logo, design, interface, and underlying software are owned by BlueTile and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
7.2 Your Content
Your saved maps and tile arrangements remain yours. You grant BlueTile a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your maps solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your saved content.
7.3 Third-Party Content
AI-generated content is produced by Anthropic's models and is subject to Anthropic's usage policies. We do not claim copyright over AI-generated output, and neither should you — AI-generated content is generally not protected by copyright under current Indian law.
8. Privacy
Your use of BlueTile is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at bluetile.io/privacy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
9.1 Service Provided "As Is"
BlueTile is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BlueTile shall not be liable for:
- Any inaccuracies in AI-generated medical content
- Loss of data, maps, or account information
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
- Any harm resulting from clinical or professional reliance on content generated by the Service
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to BlueTile in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to BlueTile at any time if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in any conduct we reasonably determine to be harmful. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 9, and 11 of these Terms survive termination.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of BlueTile shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
